The Allure of the Seas is taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris by 124 feet and more than 5 times longer than a Boeing 747 jetliner. During the construction of the massive ship, the company needed 500,000 individual parts to piece together and 158,503 gallons to paint both the interior and exterior area.

Passengers can count on Royal Caribbean for their environmental friendly fleets. Their line, Oasis of the Seas, was the first to receive a DNV (Det Norske Veritas) Green Passport designation. Guests on board need not to worry about garbage disposal as the cruise company seeks to recycle materials discarded on the ship with its built in shredder, bailers, and compactors. For objects made out of glass, a crusher is specially designed to ensure proper recycling.

The ship has a state-of-the-art cold storage room that stores waste and recyclable material. Fuel efficiency is also a top priority, with the company making sure that they use materials to increase it.
