The culture of Beatbox has been around since 2002. However, it was not until the Beatbox Battle World Championship event series caught the attention of people around the world that this music phenomenon went global.
Recently, the most anticipated match-up between Shawn Lee from Malaysia versus K.I.M was held on stage at the 3rd Beatbox Battle World Championship in Germany #BBB3TV. The quarterfinals of this major music competition took place at the Astra Kulturhaus Berlin in 2012.
