This Pregnant Mom Was Bullied By Her Family …But Then These Strangers Did Something Amazing

Wherever you go, you can always see some people bullying others. At times, even your own family and friends give you negative comments when they feel like it. Whether you’re too fat, too thin, or too dumb, they always have something to say to you, and the only way to make them stop is to step up. And Natalie McCain did just so. She stepped up by posting his body online and made a lot of people support and praise her for being herself. Natalie McCain posted the story of her maternity period with a picture of herself on The Honest Body Project’s Facebook page, where she received unexpected negative comments from her relatives and friends. The Honest Body Project was meant to give voice to women to share their pregnancy experience with everyone. Hearing the aim of the project, Natalie decided to join and share one of her pregnancy photos, hoping that her family and friends will be  proud of her. Unexpectedly, they weren’t and even bullied her for being too fat.

Her family didn’t understand her for sharing her picture, but some people did, and they helped bring back her happiness and confidence.

Natalie’s family and friends bullied her for being plus-sized and told her that she looks unhealthy and unfit, but some strangers reached out to the Michigander mom to support and praise her by sharing their heart-touching stories on Facebook. “For the first time in about thirty-five weeks, I felt beautiful and was so excited to share this moment with my friends and family,” the soon-to-be mom said. But when she checked the comments below her picture, she broke into tears. “All I received were negative comments about how huge I am, about how unhealthy I am, and about how they think my baby is going to be a 10- to 12-pound baby by the looks of how much I weigh,” she said.

An unknown person wrote on Natalie’s picture, “I was asked tonight by a waitress if I was pregnant as I held my infant in my arms! Like, really? Am I supposed to give birth then go to the gym the next day? Geez, people are crazy! You look great!” It’s unfortunate, but it’s true that sometimes, the love and care we desperately want cannot be given by our family. But comes with it is the fact that not everyone are coldhearted enough to leave us alone, facing our own fears.
