The Swing at the End of the World Will Make Your Heart Skip a Beat

For thrill seekers, who believe that swings are meant for kids, the Swing at the End of the World might just change your mind.

Swings are made for kids, and are often found on playgrounds and parks, but this odd swing called the Swing at the End of the World is made only for the bravest adventurers, who are willing to take the risk of falling off the edge of a steep cliff while swinging high up in the air.

The swing’s location offers thrill-seekers a beautiful view of the Tungurahua Volcano. Even if it appears as if it hangs over a cliff, there is actually a steep slope beneath. Either way, falling would mean death. However, this doesn’t stop people from trying it as it offers a unique and one-of-a-kind experience, especially the thought of swaying back and forth in a plank of wood hanging from a metal rod high above.

For those who are brave enough to ride this long swing, it is located in Baños, Ecuador at La Casa del Arbol, also known as The Treehouse.

Would you dare ride this heart-thumping swing? If so, check out the following photos as these might just change your decision:
