Corset-addict Avendano has this to say about her quest for perfection: “After a while, it became a necessity, and when I’m not wearing it, my skin would itch. But it’s not pain, it’s more pleasure, I like the pressure.”

She has also gone to say that all the pain she went through has been more than worth it as the young woman has been featured in Mexican Playboy thanks to her curves. To maintain her shape, Avendano said that she sticks to a healthy diet and exercise.

But not everyone is a fan of Avendano’s dangerous method. Doctors have openly expressed their concern on her corset-dependent lifestyle.

“In my medical opinion she should stop this immediately. Thank God she has not done any damage so far, but she should stop before it’s too late,” Dr. Andres Ruiz advised. “It happens because the floating ribs at the bottom of the rib cage are easier to mold. It’s definitely possible to achieve this waist without surgery.”

Avendano’s surgical enhancements include getting rhinoplasty and breast augmentation. She has turned heads and raised eyebrows as she walks the streets of Venezuela, a country supposedly famous for its naturally beautiful women.

They say that I’ve had too much surgery, that I don’t have ribs, and that I’m a man,”  Avendano says of her critics. “It is totally false. People even say that I am an extraterrestrial and a transsexual.”

Avendano ambitions to be known around the world for her entire body. She takes pride on what she has and shrugs off the critics, calling her decision “the best thing that has happened to me”.

“I’m not worried about going under the knife,” Avendano told the Daily Mail. “I will have whatever kind of surgery that makes me feel better about my body. Every woman should have plastic surgery if they want to be truly beautiful.”
