Pizza Vending Machine Gives You Fresh Pizza Pie in 90 Seconds

Vending machines have made life easier and more simple since their invention, but there is a new one that gives you a freshly made, straight-from-the-oven pizza pie. The machine is called the Pizzabox. It’s six feet high and serves 10-inch pizzas at $5 a pop.

The best thing about this machine-generated pizza is that it is ready in 90 seconds. It also comes with a knife, fork, parmesan cheese, oregano, red pepper, and a moist towelette so you can eat in a civilized manner.

Denis Koci, the founder of the parent company The Box Brands, told reporters, “The experience can only be compared to a chef pulling a pizza out of the oven in the kitchen of a restaurant. It’s impossible to eat as the cheese is still very melty, the crust is browned, and pizza in general is piping hot. You must let it cool for 5 to 10 minutes, which is perfect if you’re taking it on the go.”

The Pizzabox will have a live video chat so customers can interact with a representative. This concept was first done with the Burritobox. Koci added, “The only thing separating us from a fast-food restaurant is customer service, and going forward all of our machines will have a friendly face ready to talk to consumers if they have any questions. Our machines work identical to most fast-food restaurants and now we will have the same service for customers, no 1-800 numbers.”

Pizzabox is still in the testing stage, but they are hoping to launch their product soon. Koci told the media, “We are initially launching it as the first-ever drive-through pizza experience.” The priority locations will be airports and colleges, with the University of Southern California being chosen as the testing area.
