Think about the most bizarre thing you’ve seen on the Internet lately. Now be ready to forget all about it after checking out this mutant goat from India.
Mutation in animals is nothing new. Like human beings, genetic conditions can happen prior to birth and result in deformed physical features. But this goat is going viral because of a peculiar facial structure that is too difficult to unsee.
Mutant Goat with Human Face Goes Viral
A video of a mutant goat has left millions stunned after it was posted online last August 17. The clip is said to have originated in India and was uploaded by certain Facebook user named Samiraa Aissa. She captioned the video, “A strange creature has been discovered in India. The animal, whose shape resembles that of a human being, terrified a whole village.” The video quickly went viral and has been viewed over 37 million times.
The bizarre goat appeared to have eerily similar facial structure to that of a human with the rest of its body resembling a goat. Even the animal’s lips are bent upward, making it seem like it has a pout on its face.
Unsurprisingly, the members of the village have connected its appearance to mythology, with many stating that the goat is the physical embodiment of a demon. However, there should be no cause for alarm, as deformities are common in the animal world. There are many factors for this, including malnutrition, congenital issues, and chemical toxins.

Despite the logical reasons behind its bizarre appearance, it hasn’t stopped people from drawing their own conclusions. Sympathizers have even feared for the goat’s life, as more and more unwanted attention is being drawn in. As of this writing, there hasn’t been any update about the mysterious goat.
Bizarre animals around the world
This is not the first time a weird creature made front-page news. Just this year, a calf was born with near-human features in the Northern India state of Uttar Pradesh. Villagers declared that it was the incarnation of Lord Vishnu and wanted to build a temple to honor the calf when it died.
A similar scenario also happened last March, this time involving a human baby. When a Muslim woman delivered a boy with physical deformities, the villagers hailed him a reincarnation of a Hindu god. When doctors came over to check on the boy, they diagnosed the newborn with an extremely rare genetic condition called harlequin ichthyosis.
