Women are often identified for the strength that they inhibit on the inside, but little do people know there are also a handful of women with astounding physical strength who are ready to rival any man out there. Like any other person in this world, they have developed their strength through rigorous training and exercise over the years.

Completely related with this topic are bodybuilders. They eat healthy and exercise regularly, thus giving them bodies that have a considerable amount strength more than the average individual. A female bodybuilder isn’t really a common sight. Yes, it can be empowering, but only a few women actually do it as they are mostly afraid of losing their femininity in the process.

Fifty-one-year-old Nicole Bass is known for being the best largest woman bodybuilder in the world, a title she and her fans have proudly owned. She spanned an extensive career in bodybuilding over the 80s and 90s, garnering numerous awards in the field. Bass went on to debut in Extreme Championship Wrestling last 1998 and most notably appeared as fellow wrestler Sable‘s bodyguard in 1999’s Wrestlemania.

Yolanda Hughes is one of America’s most well-known professional female bodybuilder. Her fascination with fitness and health began at a young age, where she engaged in many physical activities and sports. She then went to compete in numerous track-and-field competitions and she excelled in gymnastics as well. When Hughes was approached to try out bodybuilding during her college years, she took the challenge and has since then gained numerous accolades in Olympia and Miss International, a competition organized by the International Federation for Bodybuilders.

Yaxeni Oriquen

Weight: 72.6 kg

Valenzuela-born Yaxeni Oriquen is a bodybuilding champion. She has managed to win the Ms. International title four times in the years 2002, 2003, 2005, and 2008. Prior to becoming a professional, Oriquen had a career in modeling, and after winning her first professional bodybuilding contest, she transferred to the United States.

Dayana Cadeau got her pro card after competing at the Canada Cup back in 1997. Her career seemed to have skyrocketed from there, as she is often called the greatest Canadian female bodybuilder. Technically, Cadeau was not born in the country but was raised there after migrating from Haiti. Nonetheless, the country continues to take pride on her achievements over the years.
