The Wild Thornberrys was known for adding an environmental twist to the usual kids animated comedy show by featuring a family who engages in wildlife studies through their documentary films. The story of this nomadic family centers on Eliza, who has been bestowed with the secret ability of being able to talk to animals.

This is another animated series that features an anthropomorphic protagonist in the character of an Australian-immigrant wallaby named Rocko and his adventures with his friends Heffer, Filburt, and Spunky.

This was a popular animated series that combined the superhero genre with action and comedy. It was about the adventures of three young girls named Bubbles, Blossom, and Buttercup who had been created by Professor Utonium with “sugar, spice, and everything nice” in the attempt to create the perfect little girl. However, not everything goes to plan when he accidentally pours a mysterious substance called “Chemical X” into the mixture, unintentionally giving the little girls a variety of superpowers.

This show is about four teenage anthropomorphic turtles who fight criminals and alien invaders under the training of their sensei, an anthropomorphic rat named Splinter. With the help of their mentor and their human friend April, they do everything they can to protect their city.

This show was based on the book Salute Your Shorts: Life at Summer Camp by Thomas Hill and Steve Slavkin. It’s set at a fictional summer camp and focuses on the adventures of teenager campers and their strict camp counselor.

14. The Secret World of Alex Mack (1994–1998)

This show ran from 1994-1998 and is about the travails of its title character, Alex Mack, who is an ordinary teenage girl who gains superhero powers when she is accidentally drenched with a mysterious chemical called GC-161.
