If you think waiting at a train station is boring, think again.
Well, not in Japan’s Osaka City, that is. Here, waiting for the train has become quite an amazing experience. Instead of the typical wall clock you would find in almost all train stations, you will find a water fountain.

This water fountain in the Osaka City train station is no ordinary water spouting fountain. In line with Japan’s love for inventing new technology, this fountain has the ability to spout water in various patterns. It even sprays out the time.
The said attraction is located in the South Gate Building of the new Osaka Station City complex. The said fountain is rectangular in shape and was established and designed by a local firm named Koei Industry.

The fountain works through the use of a digitally-controlled printer that ejects water into carefully constructed patterns that reproduce images that are in a PC. The lights above the fountain illuminate the patterns ejected below.
Koei Industry, founded in 1987, is known for producing entertainment fountains and landscapes all over Japan.
So, what do you think of this man made marvel? Let us know what you think.
